PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

A. OFFLINE FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE SCHOOL COUNTER :from 10/01/2017 to 31/01 2017- on all working days from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon 

B. OPEN ONLINE REGISTRATION FORMS

Only the online Registration Forms submitted at school counter along with photographs of the parents and  child , self attested documents and registration fee will be considered for admission process

Print out of the filled form, duly signed by both the parents, must be submitted at the school counter, along with photographs of parents and child; self-attested photocopies of the supporting documents and registration fee.

Registration fee can be deposited by Demand Draft of Rs.25/- (in favour of “S.L.S DAV Public School, Mausam Vihar Delhi”)  or in Cash  Rs. 25/-

PARAMETERS FOR ADMISSION

A) ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR OPEN SEATS 2017- 2018  

SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS PER GUIDELINES ISSUED BY DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION

Neighbourhood criteria will be followed  as per the directives of Directorate of Education vide order no. F/DE/15/1031/ACT/2016/12668 dated 07/01/2017 in the following manner.

  1. Criteria for Neighbourhood
  1. Admission shall first be offered to students residing within 1 km of the school.
  2. In case the vacancy remains unfilled, students residing within 1 to 3 kms of the school shall be admitted.
  3. If there are still vacancies, then the admission shall be offered to other students residing within 3 to 6 kms of the school.
  4. Students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms area.

B. Process of Admission within Neighbourhood

i.  The school will first segregate the applications having residence within the first neighbourhood range of 0-1 km.

(ii)   Out of the total applications from the first neighbourhood range of 0-1 km, the school shall first give admission to all siblings.

(iii)   If the applications of sibling category, in neighbourhood range of 0-1 km are in excess of the seats of General Category, the draw of lots of all sibling applications (which have residence within 1 km), shall be conducted to admit the students against the number of available seats.

(iv)  If the applications of  sibling  category within  0-1 km are less than the seats of General Category and if seats still remain vacant after exhausting sibling applications, the school shall admit the students on the basis of draw of lots from the remaining applications received under the neighborhood range of 0-1 km.

(v)   In case the total applications of 0-1 km is less than the number of seats of General Category, and vacancies still remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the distance range of 0-1 km, the applications from the second distance range of neighbourhood of 1-3 kms shall be considered in the above manner.

(vi)  If the vacancies still remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the distance range of 1-3 kms, the applications from the third distance range of neighbourhood of 3-6 kms shall be considered in the above manner.

(vii) Student residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms after following the procedure as mentioned above.

Closure of admission process 31/03/2017 (Friday)

LIST OF DOCUMENTS

Following Self Attested / Attested copies of the Documents Required to be submitted along with duly filled-in Registration forms:

1. Date of Birth Certificate of child.

2. Aadhar Card of Child.

2. Any proof of residential address: 

a) Ration Card issued in the name of Parents (Mother/Father having name of the child)

b) Domicile Certificate of the child or his/her parents.

c) Voter I-Card of any of the Parents.

d.) Electricity bill/MTNL telephone bill/ Water bill/Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.

e) Aadhar card/UID card issued in the name of the parents. 

3. In case of sibling copy of the school Id-Card and last paid fee receipt.

4. Proof of Alumni of SLS DAV Public School, Mausam Vihar Delhi : Photocopy of class XII certificate.

5. Medical fitness certificate / vaccination/immunization card of the child issued by Medical Officer.

9. Proofs of highest Educational Qualification of parents.
